John attended the University of Central Florida in the early 90’s earning degrees in Art Education and a BFA in Sculpture, teaching 3D Arts and Drafting at the high school level until the end of the decade when he attended the University of Florida in the Core Architectural Program working towards his Masters. Over the next two decades in Gainesville, Florida he interned with an Architectural firm, then designed and managed a healthy bistro based on the region’s green local food economy.
John moved to Jacksonville in 2016, returning to the Design world with a focus on Coastal Residential, joining JAA in the spring of 2023. He is also visual artist and dj with a love for Landscape Photography created on backcountry adventures from the Rocky Mountains to Lowcountry, as well as an Oceanic Conservationist making found object Sculptures from shoreline cleanups along the First Coast.
